I am Eden Ephraim, currently a senior doctoral student at the Free University of Berlin, Germany. I am in the Department of Immunology and Molecular Biology and the area of my research involves evaluation of the probiotic effect of a strain of Enterococcus faecium on the immune system.

Before enrolling in the doctoral program, I obtained a Masters degree in Microbiology from Addis Ababa University in my home country of Ethiopia. To date I have seven publications as documented in my curriculum vitae (CV).

Since my training employs a number of disciplines in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Immunology and Virology, I believe that I could contribute to the productivity of research in such laboratories.
